Living in the matrix

Sometimes this is phrased as a question but regardless of that if

we are concerned with " matrices " or " matrixes " then we have to

go back to this guy:

James Joseph Sylvester

Of course the thing is really associated with The Matrix

particularly when phrased as a question.

Just looking at - living in the matrix -, there are two words

- living - and - matrix - , that to me are very much like

peanut butter and jelly,  certainly attractive to the " mind ".

But people do eat - simply - peanut butter alone or

jelly alone, or on bread.

The other issue is really, as a question, it often is a question

about living in a simulation, and we often think of this

as a " computer " simulation.  However, the idea would have

had very little significance to anybody really before 1950.

Mr. Sylvester lived during the 1800's.

This all connects back to what we think about as reality.

You could also say for example: is reality real ? ...

It also has some connection to the Buddhist concept of, " is the

Buddha nature in everything ".  Somehow  these seem

vaguely connected.

At the end, I would mostly refuse to answer " yes or no ",

but I really think it is more of a thing that is very

subjective.  However sometimes people will answer

- yes or no - .
