Holography and football
So this is all very " messy ". I am searching for a new dimension in politics, and
that turns out to be a " messy " concept as is football. Of course in football
you have a primary dimension which is two teams in opposition. But clearly,
to make the game interesting you have other dimensions, which both teams
do share because, it is the variety of qualitative dimensions in the game
which create it compelling interest.
So back to holography, which may be interesting in terms of football,
however, the current trend in more modern " physics ", is the idea
of a holographic universe, which implies in some way the the entire
universe is more or less some kind of reflection of singular elements.
Of course the issue becomes what kind of " elements " are we taking
about. Dimensions of course figure prominently with all that.
And so messy, well originally this was going to be a narrative, but
primarily connecting things like, good, common good, and status or
state. You can see these ideas in football when it comes to questions
like, how well is a particular play run, or when do we kick, and when
do we pass, etc. For example you might say such a play was " good ",
we run, etc. Then again you have issue like status, the status of
individual players, having a " good " day or not.
But simply consider the advantages of two dimensional politics, because
with this, say, vertical axis, you can reflect more on commonalities, because
you can be on the left and so high vertically or low, likewise you could
be on the right and again be at a similar vertical position.
So much for this right now, much more sorting , and sorting out seems
in order.
