God, bugs, mind, and stuff

"Half-wracked prejudice leaped forth, "rip down all hate, " I screamed

Lies that life is black and white spoke from my skull, I dreamed
Romantic facts of musketeers foundationed deep, somehow
Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now "

Bob Dylan, My Back Pages.

Starship Toopers was published November 5, 1959, by
Robert A. Heinlein. It won the Hugo Award for Best Novel in 1960.

At any rate " bugs " feature prominently in the novel.  One idea
that is interesting certainly is the notion of bugs in relationship
to God.  Many would ask why that God as Creator would come
up with this idea of or in fact reality of bugs.  Well that's what
you might call a --- good question ---, in that you can spend
an incredible amount of time concerned with it or maybe
just read Starship Troopers.  For me it comes down to,
who is really in charge here ?,  people or bugs?

Another interesting idea  is the relationship between
bugs and computers.  The reason we use the term is
the original connection between physical bugs and
errors in computer equipment.  That leads us towards
the direction of mind.

I think that one of the objectives in Zen generally is the
notion of attempting to come to grips with the notion of
mind.  Just the notion of mind is of course curious,
and oddly connected to the notion of imaginary numbers
in mathematics at least some think.

How can I make any sense of what I just wrote or
even try to find a point to it?

So,,,,  I'll just sum up with the following:

I think you can legitimately say God the Creator or God the creator,
but I also think they probably mean different things and are
more appropriate in different contexts.  If they are in fact
different, who is responsible for bugs in unclear.

Just the weird subtleties of religion.  The words that get capitals.
