Qualities

This maybe should correctly be " Qualities and science ", but

it didn't work out that way.

But a good deal of the focus here is on qualities.  When you consider science

in general you will note that science tends to focus on the qualities of things

in general.  The " kind of " sad story about science, is nobody ever

agreed or decided that, we will only consider " such and such " kind of things.

Rather the situation is, if you can find a thing, then it's kind of open

hunting on the scientific " process " examining the qualities of that

thing.  Of course there are an awful lot of things, for example,

bananas,   clouds, bodies of water, birds, and of course another

kind of important " thing " would also be  the ever enigmatic --

human being --- .

Then of course once you isolated that thing, you begin to

examine it's qualities in ever greater details, and try and share

those observations with someone else who would care about

it and try and convince them that the qualities you are

examining, indeed exist and, likewise, the particular

aspect of those qualities are what you describe.  And as

time has progressed the use of numbers has become

way more popular in regard to describing particular

qualities, and hence we have lots of gauges and other

types of measuring devices to come up with numbers.

One problem, of course, is the " science " of physics,

which I think is also sometimes referred to as "fysics " or

things, which is generally considered to be a science.

The problem is that the " thing " that they have chosen to

study is " physical reality ", which turns out to be a rather

broad kind of thing, because so much of our experience

is wound around that.  Both words, " physical " and " reality ",

are really difficult to define, properly, so you are already

off to a great start.  Nevertheless, that work goes on, as it

turns out that a lot of the people who chose to study " physical

reality ", tend to be kind of,  " eager beavers ".  Recently, of

course, the distinctions between what is physical and what

is not, and even what is real and what is not, have become

distinctly " blurred " or " fuzzy ".

So, with that said, you add up all the qualities of all the things,

you end up with an awful lot of things, which have many

qualities each, which makes a whole bucket load of qualities

all together.

Now this should definitely have a point.  Well, as previously

mentioned, -- human beings --, were not excluded from

this examination of  "things", for better or worse.  And with

human  (you/we) beings you have really distinct but interrelated things

which also have qualities, and those are both physical

qualities, examined particularly through --- medical science ---,

and the less physical qualities , which are behaviors, which

is kind of in and out with the medical science.  Sometimes,

these less physical aspect of human beings seems to be

more closely connected to medical science and sometimes

less so.

As you can see, this has got to be the end of the day, because

from here it can only get more confusing, but the point is

that we can have significant agreement on behaviors, and

the qualities of behaviors, because we do have this

kind agreeing, all the time, on many different levels.

Very often we can even agree in very specific things

about -- some -- particular qualities or/of behaviors.
