reactions and least action


Isaac Newton seems to have really been into the idea of action and reaction, and

I am not 100% sure where he got that idea, but it's seems to have been very

useful in the development of lots of technology and stuff.

However, these ideas did evolve to the concept of least action from Hamilton:

This notion of action and reaction does seem to have lots of applications.  

My guess, is that there is a kind of natural conclusion that can be

drawn about over use of violence to ensure safety.  Anyway, I think

you might be able to reach your own conclusion on how reasonable

it is to use unreasonable force  to promote general well being.


So, the point ?  What is the point?  I guess that is the  point.
