Hypocrisy a bit

First, hypocrisy must be a real thing, otherwise we won't have a word like - hypocrisy -for such a behavior. Number one, it's pretty hard to spell.  I think I discovered a new word, in the process of writing it out, but that got lost. Anyway, I would imagine, that one of the most hypocritical behaviors one could willingly participate with, is writing about hypocrisy. But I am pretty sure most people don't care for it (hypocrisy).  Also I would suggest that hypocrisy is much easier to detect in other people, and I would suggest that, because, if it was easier to detect in ourselves, there would be a heck of a lot less of it.  But, I doubt it will ever entirely  disappear, because, then we would be stuck with this crazy word with nothing to use it for. So, an example is clearly in order.  If you know you should not run in the hallway, and you run it the hallway, and then you berate someone else for running in the hallway, that could be seen as hypocrisy.  It ...

Light

So, to begin with, there is no way for me, in an exhaustive way to thoroughly elucidate the issue of light.  But to begin with  light and gravity are the two attributes of physical reality, by which we both " navigate " and begin to understand this thing - called physical reality.  But clearly, because I used the word elucidate in relation to light, by which I meant " shed light on light ", it means that the notion of " light ", goes beyond the notion of physical reality. Don't you wish I would just get " straight " to the point? I guess the point is there is a great deal to the subject. It seems that Dr. Einstein spent a good deal of his life muddling about with the subject.  I am pretty sure that he had some intuitions about how there must be some " fundamental " connection between the two attributes mentioned.  To his great disappointment I do not believe he was able to capture that connection in a way the was entirely to his sa...

Okay, Democracy and jazz

I have heard that Dizzy Gillespie once said that jazz was African rhythm with European melody.  Not sure about that, but, if  Dizzy Gillespie did say that, I'm pretty sure there is something to it. Now, democracy.  In my opinion, and only in my opinion, democracy in this country is something like jazz, in that for one thing,  improvisation is important, but also, I feel it has sort of a Native American rhythm with some European flavor or melody. Could be a stretch, but, I think it is something, quite special, and perhaps unique, and however you look at it, it's worth keeping around a while, for no other reason, than just to see what will happen.  I think those things that could happen, are worth checking out, and it's worth it for us, to keep or end up so that those , whatever those things might be, will have a chance to happen. Can't know for sure, but it's kind of like watching a movie  half way through, you really might want to see that ending....
