Where is space / (Space) ?
This could be a pretty difficult question, depending on how you look at it.
At one time you might have been able to say that, -- space -- , is the black
stuff, directly over the blue stuff, that you can't see , when you are looking
up. Now a days, I think that is a bit more difficult , complicated by
the issue of space-time , what or where or when that is. So, depending on
how you look at it , it could be a pretty difficult question. And let's not
mention what is a manifold at all.
manifold, in mathematics, a generalization and abstraction of the notion
of a curved surface; a manifold is a topological space that is modeled
closely on Euclidean space locally but may vary widely in global properties.
( don't mention it )
There is, of course, another way to look at it, which is, the practical or pragmatic
way. For example, you often encounter the situation where, you
have some object and you want to put it someplace, so you might need to
"make" space for it. So under normal situations we encounter ourselves
" making " space, which is pretty curious to think about.
Speaking of space-time, we are approaching a national election, for
various important government positions. An event, in " space-time".
Many people suggest this election is highly relevant because of the
significant issues involved. Some say that democracy " itself ",
is on the ballot. So we might have to think about " what " or " where "
is democracy itself. And so, beyond that, there is how various
people or groups view these highly relevant issues.
I think that the time after the election, may be as important as that
election itself, but we agree there are many, many relevant issues
on the ballot. One very important issue would be trust. Can
we trust each other enough , can be believe in each other enough
to allow the cohesion - to pull together a nation and economy
that works for all of us.
Now, just worry about --- " all of us ".
