 It turns out that a conversation of this type went on for a long time in the early days

of Christianity in disputes between orthodoxy and heresy.  It is useful to have a definition

for heresy, which could be : 

  • a person holding an opinion at odds with what is generally accepted.


Oddly all these folks considered themselves Christians.  


And so, what does all this mean?  I'm thinking you best sort all that out for yourself.
