Inspiring aspects of work

Work is surely a curious human behavior, and does have more than one inspiring aspect,

one in particular would be how universal it has been through time and of course even in

the present, you can think of the near future as well.  Of course, we all do try to avoid

it as much as possible, which when we are successful at that, usually ends up in more

work at a later time, but you know if you add that up throughout the planet, well,

I guess it does kind of average out.

But, it can be often more inspiring, especially when you reach a place , normally

referred to as success.  This can be also a tremendous experience, and often

quite beneficial, and many times the benefits are amazing.  I often think of this

in terms of Learning Perl, Randall Schwartz, the preface by Larry Wall, when

he talks about the creative process involved with Perl coming to be, and

he talks about, " when it works ", and references this as some kind of magic.

So, I might have to conclude, magic does happen although I was pretty

thoroughly educated that, in fact, there is NO MAGIC.

At the end, I guess, there may or may not be magic, but at the end of

the day, or the beginning of the day, the work is there.
