Fear, confidence, and actions
Well, for sure, one thing we are all aware of is actions which pretty much
everyone does, so it is something we are " intimately : related with.
Now, an action is rarely , only , motivated by rational considerations.
Yes, many of our actions are, I guess, evaluated by rational considerations,
as, for example, whether the action is " possible " or " reasonable".
But all or most actions are connected to motivations primarily. One
obvious example is hunger, which is is strong motivator for a lot of
our actions. There are many other motivations of this type, which
influence or at least modify our actions.
Regardless of that, almost all actions are connected to
to major influences, which would be fear and confidence.
When an action is taken or motivated by fear, it means
there is some kind of threat or perception of threat.
An action taken from confidence differs in the following
way. There are more avenues or possibilities that
those actions may take. You can think about that
in many ways. In addition, because of the absence
of threat, the action may be taken at a better pace,
or more consistently, in the case of more complex
actions.
So, if this sounds a lot like Lagrange, well, what the heck?
