Wokeness and the U.S. Military

So apparently spell check is a bit ambiguous about this word, but nevertheless,

when you turn a verb into a noun all of a sudden and expect people to understand

what that might mean, seems like you are playing with kerosene.

So as how vague or meaningful that word might be, I need to mention

some aspects of my military service, 1970-1973.   During my first few months

I was highly engaged with charismatic Christianity,  which is most commonly

( probably ) known as the - born again - movement.   Some people might refer to it

as - refried Christianity - , nevertheless, it was neither sanctioned or encouraged,

as far as I could tell by any " military " authority, or civilian oversight.  So,

just comparing being -- born again -- to what ever you call or mean by

wokeness ((???)).

Now, more to the point I served at the end of the Medical Corp, in the U.S. Army,

directed by Mr. Richard Nixon, which I have to say I was extremely uncomfortable

about, being I was in the Medical Corp., at that time.
